Terms and Conditions

When you arrive in Ikaria, a member of the Adventure Cars team will be at the pick-up point to deliver the vehicle you want with your name on it. We will only need your ID or other official document and your driver’s license for identification. You can pick up or deliver the car anywhere on the island (ports, airport, hotel), all day, for free.

Age limits

- Minimum age for car booking: 21 years with valid driver’s license.
- People over the age of 79 are required to re-issue their driver’s license in order to be able to book a car.

Additional drivers
Additional drivers are allowed for free in the same vehicle, with a minimum age of 23 years.
Additional drivers must have a driver’s license for at least 1 year.
Fuel policy
Vehicles must be returned with the fuel tank full: Just as they were delivered. Otherwise, there will be an additional charge depending on the current fuel pricing policy.

What documents will I need to rent a car?

In order to be able to drive a car legally in Greece, you must have a valid police ID or passport, which will be accompanied by a valid driver’s license issued by the European Union. The law is very strict and you cannot drive a car in Greece without the specific documents. If you do not have one of these documents in your possession, it will result in you not being allowed to rent a car from our company. To rent a vehicle from our company, you must have a valid driver’s license for each registered driver. The driver’s license must have been issued at least one year before the rental date. The minimum age for car rental is 21 years. It is also necessary to have a credit card in your possession so that the required amount is guaranteed.

Where can I pick up and deliver my vehicle?

With timely consultation with Adventure Cars, you can pick up the car in any part of the island you wish (ports, airport, hotels). It is also possible, if you wish, to deliver it to a different location from the place of receipt. Please note that additional charges may apply.

How can I cancel or modify my reservation?

If you wish to cancel your reservation, you will contact our office at 22751 10085, 6945205227 or email: amaxada@gmail.com and we will let you know if there are cancellation costs (depending on how early you cancel your reservation and at what period this reservation was addressed).

Can I extend the rental period of my vehicle?

It is possible to extend the rent, as long as you contact our office immediately and the vehicle is available for the days you want.

What kind of insurance coverage is included?

Prices include:

– Ensuring civil liability to third parties

– V.A.T.

What will I do if I need roadside assistance?

Throughout the rental period, we at Adventure Cars are by your side to meet whatever you need. In case of mechanical failure or in case of an accident you should call us immediately, in order to help by giving you the necessary instructions and directions.

Can I get a child seat?

You can provide a child seat for free, as long as you request it in time during your reservation to ensure its availability.
